The Museum is open between 10am and 5,50pm every day except 24, 25 and 26 December

We are committed to offering a welcoming environment for disabled people their friends, relatives and colleagues.

We know every customer has different requirements and we endeavour where possible, to make physical adaptations to our locations, which is an ongoing project. Where physical adaptation is not possible, we will always do our best to give you help and assistance to make your visit as pleasurable as possible.

General admission to the Natural History Museum is free. However there are admission charges for our special temporary exhibitions.

The Museum has an inclusive admission policy ensuring all paying visitors are treated equally and with dignity.

Disabled visitors pay the full admission rate for our paying exhibitions.

A disabled visitor is entitled to a concessionary ticket if they are over 60 years of age, a student or are receiving Disability Living Allowance (Proof may be requested) A disabled person's carer or companion is entitled to free admission.

  • Parent with pushchair access Our premises are accessible to parents with a pushchair or pram.
